DEWALT DC608 18V Cordless 2" - 18 Gauge Straight Brad Nailer
It could be possible for the nailer to operate with the contact trip lock off mechanism in the "down" or "engaged" position or only with the contact trip depressed. The following nailers may be affected:

ONLY NAILERS WITH THE MODEL NUMBERS AND DATE CODES LISTED ABOVE ARE AFFECTED
The location of the model number and date code are shown on the photography below.
Products stamped with an "M" following the date code have been repaired and are not affected.
If your nailer is affected, STOP USING IT IMMEDIATELY, and call DEWALT toll-free 1-866-220-1481 between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time Monday through Friday. Or go to www.DEWALT.com for the location of a service center to obtain a free repair.
